SIGHTINGS of a strange plane flying low over Manhattan left New Yorkers in a state of panic – evoking memories of the deadly 9/11 attacks.

Footage filmed by startled onlookers shows the aircraft circling over the the Big Apple buildings.
At one point, it appears to get terrifyingly close to a skyscraper.
Twitter was awash with users showing their concern.
One user said: “This plane that’s been circling over Manhattan is starting to freak me out.”
Another wrote: “Why is this plane circulating so low in Manhattan?! It brings back bad memories.”
And a third added: “#Military #plane C-130? Circling around #Manhattan. Anyone have answers?”
But it’s since been revealed that the C-130 search-and-rescue aircraft was seeking “emergency relocation” routes in case newly-elected president Donald Trump was forced to leave New York during an attack.
