Twitter Verifies Muslim Brotherhood Account After Booting Alt-Right Users

Critics are excoriating Twitter’s recent decision to validate the violent, anti-Semitic tweets of the Muslim Brotherhood on its website. The social media giant has granted verification to Ikhwan Web, the official online feed of the Israel-hating, terrorist-abetting Muslim Brotherhood.
The “blue badge” of verification essentially places the Twitter stamp of approval on an organization’s online feed.
The Muslim Brotherhood is officially recognized by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization and has been banned in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Russia. It exists in cyberspace through an online presence that includes its English-language affiliate Ikhwan.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center, which documents anti-Semitism around the world, has condemned the Muslim Brotherhood for its virulent anti-Jewish language that has characterized the organization form the beginning.
