Ebola nurse Pauline Cafferkey was still being monitored around the clock today as experimental treatments were used to battle the deadly virus.
A spokeswoman for London’s Royal Free Hospital told the Mirror there was no significant change in her condition but admitted it “could be changing minute-by-minute”.
The hero medic from South Lanarkshire contracted Ebola while treating victims in Sierra Leone and is being given an experimental antiviral drug along with blood plasma from survivors of the disease.
The doctor treating her Dr Michael Jacobs had confirmed she is currently going through a “crucial few days” but does not expect to make a reliable prognosis this week.
He is considering whether to use further experimental drugs to combat the little understood virus.
