The .Gov is fudging the corn crop numbers by 50%! This has driven corn prices down to $2 a bushel. It takes about 3.50 a bushel to plant and harvest. The North Dakota wheat harvest is not being picked up by the railroads due to cheap price. All they are hauling is oil, because it pays more. Most likely will rot in the fields. The wheat is setting in piles in the fields. The Wisconson corn suffered a large freeze. Only buyers are ethonal plants. They will only pay $1.25. This is going to put alot of farmers into foreclosure after the first of the year.
Brazil is in a huge drought. Many crops plus coffee. China’s breadbasket is also in a drought.
And we know about the California drought.
All this comes from the weekly Farmers Conference call every Sat.
If you can find bulk wheat in your area, I would “load the boat”!
Plus, If this Ebola “gets legs”, shipping may very well shut down!
