DHHS reports 10 more flu-related deaths in NC

RALEIGH- DHHS officials report an additional ten flu- related deaths in North Carolina.

Numbers released Thursday indicate another ten people have died between January 26th and February 1st. This brings the total flu- related deaths to 56.

Most victims so far have been young adults who are particularly vulnerable to H1N1, the dominant strain of the virus this season.

The season usually peaks in January and February.
