So we all know what’s going on with the Fukushima Radiation and what harm it can do to our bodies. To protect yourself against radiation try out these DIY remedies below for a safe and healthier body.
Get good amounts of Calcium! Radioactive strontium is very similar chemically to calcium. Our bodies take up strontium and deposit it into our bones, treating it as if it were calcium. If we’re not getting enough calcium, then our calcium-hungry bodies will more quickly and eagerly absorb strontium. On the other hand, if we’re getting enough calcium, our bodies won’t absorb as much strontium.
Calcium rich foods: Dark leafy greens like spinach, kale, turnips, collard greens, soybeans (get non-GMO), blackstrap molasses, and broccoli.
Radioactive cesium is treated like potassium by our bodies. The body absorbs it, treats it like potassium, and deposits it in our muscles, heart and other tissues. So getting enough potassium will help to prevent absorption of radioactive cesium.
Potassium rich foods: Sweet potatoes, beet greens, beans, yogurt, prunes, carrot juice, molasses, winter squash, bananas, dried apricots, avocados, mushrooms.
Top 5 Spices that are Potassium Rich: Dried chervil spices, dried Coriander leaf spices, dried dill weed spices, dried tarragon spices, dried parsley spices.
