WASHINGTON –
As we learn more about Healthcare.gov, it’s becoming increasingly clear that this became entangled in a massive government bureaucracy that simply couldn’t deliver in time.

Despite more than three years to get the job done, the administration unveiled the Obamacare website despite a number of warnings that it wasn’t ready for prime time.

That report from the Washington Post was released just after President Barack Obama held a campaign-style event at the White House to promote the health law and address its shortcomings.

“Nobody is madder than me about the fact that the website isn’t working as well as it should, which means it’s going to get fixed,” the president said.

But can it be fixed in time? Consumer Reports is now warning its readers to steer clear of the site entirely, at least for now/

The white house seemed to leave the door open to some flexibility in the current deadlines.

Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius has agreed to testify before Congress next week in part of to explain a website that has baffled even experts.

“My overall sense, right from day one, was it was created by people who had never created a commercial database application before,” said FMS Software developer Luke Chung.
