When I received the official letter near the end of 2012 that I had to leave New Zealand, there was a part of me that was very relieved. Why? It had been over 5 years since I had seen my older children. My Grandchildren had never met me and my oldest son had huge concerns over the NDAA.
The level of spraying and geo-engineering over most of New Zealand looked and felt strange. The people around me seemed really “preoccupied” with their own lives and problems.
Upon initially returning to the USA it was familiar territory that I knew. Southern California is my home and as a 3rd Generation native California it was amazing how “normal” things seemed.
Women are much better at multi-tasking. Seriously, I rarely can multi-task so it means: being focused,making lists and keeping schedules.
Men are much better at compartmentalizing. Here is a great explanation for you ladies out there of what we men go through to keep sane in a country that in my humble view is going nuts:
Compartmentalization is an unconscious psychological defense mechanism used to avoid cognitive dissonance, or the mental discomfort and anxiety caused by a person’s having conflicting values, cognitions, emotions, beliefs, etc. within themselves.
Compartmentalization allows these conflicting ideas to co-exist by inhibiting direct or explicit acknowledgement and interaction between separate compartmentalized self states.
