Obama Strongly Backs Islam Center Near 9/11 Site
WASHINGTON — President Obama delivered a strong defense on Friday night of a proposed Muslim community center and mosque near ground zero in Manhattan, using a White House dinner celebrating Ramadan to proclaim that “as a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.”
After weeks of avoiding the high-profile battle over the center — his press secretary, Robert Gibbs, said last week that the president did not want to “get involved in local decision-making” — Mr. Obama stepped squarely into the thorny debate.
“I understand the emotions that this issue engenders. Ground zero is, indeed, hallowed ground,” the president said in remarks prepared for the annual White House iftar, the sunset meal breaking the day’s fast.

As a cross carrying follower of Jesus Christ I can truthfully say that for once, Obama is telling the truth. America is NOT a Christian nation! It is a nation that practices a “form of godliness (at best) without the power” of the truth. American “Christianity” is not true Christianity and most if not all the churches, both Catholic, Protestant, Mormon, Non-denominational, etc. are CONTROLLED by the masons who are controlled by the Illuminati. The visible church in America and the rest of the world is the great Harlot that rides the beast (government) described in Reveletion Chpt. 17. The Devil has made a total fool out of American “christians” who don’t know their Bible’s at all, they only know what the freemasonic controlled pastors (who were trained in freemasonic controlled bible seminarys, NOT taught by the Holy Spirit of Truth) cherry pick for them and teach as “truth”. “Men of high degree are a lie.” Psalm 62:9 So, as much as I hate to say it, Obama is right on this one and his master (Satan) knows it! America is going down fast for turning it’s back on the true God of the Bible, Jesus Christ and replacing Him with a molded image of a sugar coated false “jesus” that suits their corrupt lifestyles and denominational flavors. There is only one REAL Jesus Christ and only one real “denomination” which is called the TRUTH. Anything else is just mankind trying to climb up some other way and they are taking the wide path to destrution. (Matt 7:13) Yes, John 3:16 says “whosoever believeth on Him” but you have to believe in the RIGHT ONE! Also, the word “believe” in the original Hebrew language translates to OBEY. Not just a mental assent that some guy named Jesus was the Son of God! “And He became the Author of eternal salvation unto ALL THEM THAT OBEY HIM.” Heb 5:9
