Second U.S. revolution coming?
I don’t like to carry more information than necessary about U.S. affairs, but the simple fact is that things are rapidly coming to a head in the States.
With mid-term elections coming up in just four months time, and U.S.–backed Israel scheming to start a war with Lebanon which will inevitably drag in Syria and Iran, and then quite possibly Russia and China (who have multi-billion dollar investments in Iran’s oil infrastructure), America as we know it, and quite possibly the world itself, may be considerable changed for the worse by the end of this year.
And like it or not, that inevitably involves quiet, peace-keeping Canada.
As of right now, Obama’s government is trying to block efforts to defend the border by attacking laws Arizona has passed to enable itself to carry out responsibilities that the federal government refuses to honour, and is telling U.S. citizens to stay away from the border for their own safety. Emboldened by this, a drug cartel has now put a bounty on an iconic Sheriff who resists Mexican crime and illegal immigrants.
The Mexican military has frequently violated U.S. territory in recent years in support of drug smugglers, and in the absence of a credible U.S. government commitment to defend its territory, may well feel empowered to intervene in support of the Reconquista if things flare up.
This could have dangerously unpredictable consequences for the U.S., with their forces so thinly spread out because of Iraq, Afghanistan, and other commitments.
