Click on the image at left and watch 58 year-old Maggie Buckenmayer describe her sexual assault at the hands of TSA agents at an airport. If you are like the majority of Americans, you really won’t give her account a second thought, as it did not happen to you… or your wife… or your mother… or your sister. Perhaps you will dismiss her account as an aberration, or as testimony from someone who is hypersensitive. Maybe you think it’s much ado about nothing, and that the TSA agents are just doing their jobs. Regardless of the reason, if you are an average American, you won’t even watch the short video clip and you will move on to the next article that will keep your attention for the next 30 seconds, which is the average attention span of most Americans. If any of the above describes you, allow me to ask you a question: When or what will it take for you to give a damn?
