666 And The Emerging Big Brother World

Not all of us can qualify for Big Brother Africa and get rich but believe it or not we all have qualified for big brother world. And there is no prize.
The ‘spy machine’ as others have called it is proof that the technology is available to keep an eye or an ear at least on those that are electronically connected. For me, the debate is not whether the government wants to spy on us or whether the telecommunications companies don’t want to be accountable. This is about the machine not about the motives of people in government. Is this machine capable of ‘hearing’ or recording phone conversations as feared by phone operators? Is it possible for this machine to ‘know’ if a certain phone number belonging to a certain individual is in use?
If the answer is yes, then no matter what government says their intention is, they are simply not in a position to guarantee that the machine will never be used for spying purposes. The government may very well intend to use this machine to better regulate or monitor services by these companies but somebody else in the future could use the intercept facility to spy on enemies or potential enemies or even ‘friends.’
No one can guarantee that this machine will never be used for spying purposes, and the temptation for those in power to abuse this machine is arguably huge. Temptation is not sin but the bigger the temptation the stronger the character has to be to overcome it. Of course, I don’t want to speculate about the character or the integrity levels of our leaders.
The technology to visually and electronically track everyone on earth is available and increasingly in use all over the world. In fact, ‘conspiracy’ theorists have already proved that the powers that be whether in UN or behind the scenes have already agreed to aim at electronic IDs for everyone implanted in our bodies. With satellites, GPS, CCTV cameras, computers, it is possible to envision a one world government in which “no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark of the beast” (Rev. 13:17). The beast is the world dictator “given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation” (Rev. 13:7).
