Is America Entirely Nuts?

One might think that, from the title, this article is the script for some outrageous movie plot ala Rocky Horror Picture Show or even some modern day Japanese horror “splatter” film. But it is not. This is a story about America today. It is the story of a very sick society.
Week before last, I went to the USA to visit my ailing father. He is basically bedridden so he watches the TV constantly. That meant, to spend time with him, I had to sit and watch the TV constantly. Torture!
Oh, how things have changed in the USA over these last few decades and, most assuredly, not for the better.
I went to Jr. high in a town on the west coast. I suppose I went to the typical schools with typical school problems. As a junior high school student, I spent most of my time trying to avoid getting beat up by the jock meathead white kids and the Mexican-American kids.
The white kids generally left me alone because they thought I was white. The Hispanics usually left me alone because they thought I was half-Mexican. I allowed them all to think whatever they wanted as long as it allowed me not to have a bloody nose, bashed up head or getting pounded with any regularity.
I can say that my strategy worked throughout my school years for the most part, pretty well; I don’t recall ever having my butt used as a soccer ball.
The first day at my dad’s house, while sitting in front of the TV and watching the local news with him, I struggled to keep my eyes open (it wasn’t just jet-lag either)… Suddenly, the newscaster came on and scowled. He proclaimed, “The trial of the murder of a transsexual jr. high school student in Oxnard that has captured the attention of the entire world… Up next!” Then it was on to a commercial about some processed foods that make American kids fat, sick and stupid.
I sat up. Did I just hear what I thought I heard? I asked my dad. He confirmed that I heard what I thought I had heard. “Transvestite jr. high school student? Murder? Captured the world? What!”

I agree, that the people in america are mad stark raving mad but it’s not because of the state being in everybody lives. You have the neatherlands and other places that have socialism and stuff and you don’t have the type of crazy from america happening on an hourly basis. It’s because unlike some other countries, we don’t have respect for others including people that look like our group and even in our family. America at it’s founding was based on intolerance of “those people”. And for centuries that was the case and was pushed via religion and peer pressure and the govt.. I remember a StarTrek Next Generation episode where Patrick Stewart who played the captain was captured by a Cardassian and tortured ala the 1984 ending film and book (with some changes). The Cardassians daughter comes in while he is being tortured and leaves, when he notices that the capt. is in shock he says that his daughter is grown for her age and this doesn’t bother her.
The capt. goes on to tell the cardassian that by allowing the child to see this and think this is normal “children learn to devalue others, they can devalue anyone – including their parents.”. And I would like to add their own race, countrymen/women, anybody. And that is what has happened to the US. They have allowed this devaluing of others to the point that we consider it normal to bully and hate and not tolerate individuals and groups including our own family. Is it crazy, it sure is but we don’t know. Because so many of us are bat sh*t crazy, that the sane people are afraid to say so.
That boy that was running around trying to hit on other boys, you say it’s because the boy teased the other one and your right he was provoked because of the teasing. But you can also say that maybe the teachers didn’t do anything because they thought that the problem would fix itself (via him getting his butt kicked) and it turned bad. So instead of the teacher or teachers doing like a sexual harrassement, they wanted no part and just let it keep going until the other kid shot him. They disregarded the situation and in turn the 14 year old TV saw no control or issue and the other boy saw no issue bringing a gun to school to shoot him in the head. Everyone was mentally disturbed in this situation.
I feel that eventually the US will implode and we will be a nation of 7 to 9 areas controlled by other countries. Because we allowed our people via our hate and intolerance and mix messages to keep being a certain way instead of putting our money into helping our people mentally and emotionally.
