The grief stricken husband whose wife was murdered as she crossed Westminster Bridge to collect their two children from school says his life has ‘completely fallen apart’, his family said today.

Aysha Frade, 43, was on her way to meet her two daughters, aged eight and 11, when she appears to have been hit by her killer’s car and then thrown under a bus while her husband John was at work.

Today his cousin, also called John, said: ‘I can’t even put it into words how he’s [my cousin] feeling. His life’s completely fallen apart because of what’s happened. They’ve got young kids’.

He told the Standard: ‘When I heard I was just absolutely shocked. I’m still just feeling terrible, it’s a terrible thing to happen and you just don’t expect it to happen so close to home in this way’.

The unnamed terrorist who killed her, a British-born man believed to be in his forties who was known to MI5, drove a Hyundai 4×4 at pedestrians on Westminster Bridge sending them flying like skittles before hurtling towards the gates of Parliament and smashing into its outer wall.

After sprinting through a gate he then stabbed to death Metropolitan policeman Keith Palmer, 48, before being shot by armed officers. He later died in hospital.

American Kurt Cochran, was the terrorist’s third victim – he was believed to have been knocked off Westminster Bridge on to a concrete underpass below.
