Washington is about to get a ‘shock to its system,’ Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, declared this morning.

The new president will get right to work, issuing ‘significant’ executive orders on Monday, ‘upending some of the unconstitutional and job-killing regulations that have been put into place,’ she said.

‘But even before that, I feel like Washington will have a shock to its system with president Trump,’ Conway said on Good Morning America. ‘You’ll know almost immediately that there’s new sheriff in town.’

Donning a red, white and blue dress that resembles a marching band uniform, Conway, who’s coincidentally celebrating her fiftieth birthday today, told ABC News, ‘We’re all feeling very festive and patriotic today.’

Trump’s inauguration was the ‘perfect gift,’ his former campaign manager said on the program.

On Fox & Friends Conway said she feels like ‘sunshine’ today. ‘I feel so happy for the country. I think it’s a fresh start. It’s like a gut renovation, not even a fresh coat of paint.’

‘Fabulous opportunity to unify the country and take action the way a successful billionaire, businessman who’s created jobs over a series of years and connected naturally with people can do.’

At noon, Trump, who’s attending a church service this morning with Conway, his White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, Senior Counselor Steve Bannon, members of his family, and Vice President-elect Mike Pence, will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States.
