Black box from doomed Russian military plane found ‘with thermal damage’ in Black Sea
THE first black box of the crashed military Russian jet which saw all 84 passengers and eight crew killed has been found, according to reports.

One of the boxes from the TU-154 plane heading to Syria from Russia carrying dozens from Russia’s world-famous military choir has been recovered.
Nine journalists perished alongside the choir and staff after the plane came down on Christmas Day.
The main box had “some damage” to it when it was opened by experts, Russian media said.
They added: “The flight recorder has some damage.
“In particular, thermal insulation has been damaged.
“The lid of the capsule has some denting, no through damage has been detected visually.”
TASS news agency said: “During search operations, one of the black boxes was found under the aircraft’s cabin.
“It will be taken out of the water soon.”
