Mexico’s Human Rights Commission has issued a warning about the incoming waves of Haitian and African migrants arriving and on their way to the U.S. border.

According to public statements made by the CNDH’s National Ombudsman Luis Raul Gonzalez Perez, the commission is concerned over the hundreds of Haitians and African nationals that have been making their way north through Latin America. The warning was issued for Mexico to prepare sanitary accommodations and to staff its federal agencies to provide care and to avoid the spread of diseases such as cholera.

Breitbart Texas has been reporting on the waves of African and Haitian immigrants that have been working Mexico’s immigration system in order to legally make their way through that country. Mexican immigration authorities give the the immigrants a special permit that grants them legal status in Mexico for 20 days so they can leave the country. Once the African or Haitian immigrants are at the border, they walk up to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry and request refugee status.

According to Mexican authorities, 15,003 African and Haitian illegal immigrants have entered the country through the southern border state of Chiapas to request the 20 day permit.
