French police arrested two teenage girls aged 17 and 19 in the city of Nice suspected of being in touch with a jihadist that incited them to carry out attacks.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The teenagers were allegedly in contact with French jihadist Rachid Kassim, who regularly calls for committing attacks through his Telegram messenger account, Le Parisien newspaper reported Sunday.
“As in other cases where we find Rachid Kassim, they were encouraged to carry out an attack on specific targets to avenge the recent death of a Daesh spokesman” a source close to the investigation told the newspaper.
