WAT teams are sweeping the Cascade Mall in Burlington, Washington, for an active shooter with a rifle, after police reported three people dead at the scene. The area around the mall is on lockdown.
Police said in their latest briefing that three female victims have been confirmed dead, while one man is in a critical condition. Another woman sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police have released a still from CCTV footage showing the suspect. Washington State Patrol spokesman Sgt. Mark Francis tweeted the shooter was “armed with rifle.” He reportedly entered a Macy’s department store around 7:00pm.
