Hillary Clinton can proudly boast of having the endorsement of President Obama and the first lady in this 2016 election, but back in 2008, Michelle believed Clinton was unfit for the presidency.
Campaigning for her husband in Chicago to a roomful of energetic women, Mrs. Obama was critical of the Clinton’s marriage thanks to Bill’s propensity to bed women not his wife:
“The important aspects of this race is role modeling what good families should look like. And my view is that if you can’t run your own house, you certainly can’t run the White House. Can’t do it!”
But just eight years later, the Obamas claim there’s no one more qualified than Hillary to be the next president of the United States. My, how things have changed.
