Hillary Clinton is supported by the Rockefeller old guard. However, lesser oil companies are throwing their support behind Trump. The most notable of Trump oil supporters are lead by Rupert Murdoch.
“Given Trump’s full-throated defense of domestic oil and gas production, one might think that CEOs in the oil and gas sector would be far more supportive of his campaign than they have been up to this point,” Jerry Taylor, president of libertarian think-tank Niskanen Center, says in an interview with Forbes.
This is a case of the old guard of the New World Order vs. the new money of the New World Order.
