THE PRESIDENT CLONED FDR

I thought I was listening to the resurrection of FDR when I heard our POTUS (President of the United States) give an early campaign speech on April 13th allegedly to address our national debt. I was hoping to hear how he was going to cut spending, balance the budget and begin a process of reducing our $14+ trillion dollar deficit we are leaving to our children. The debt is so monumental most simply can’t comprehend all those zeroes. I have a priceless picture of a little girl about 18 months old at some rally with a pacifier in her mouth. By now it is outdated but she has a sign around her neck that says, “I’m already $38,375 in debt and I only own a dollhouse, Thank you Mr. President.” Obama’s “Cap and Trade” idea is meant to bankrupt the coal industry and then this little girl will be required to pay an environmental inspector before she can sell her doll house. And as I’m drafting this article, our country is going to Hell in a hand basket and the mugwump is on the presidential campaign trail hobnobbing in California. I was told after writing this June 9, 2003 “Giant Sucking Sounds” article and mentioning the March 17, 1993 Congressional Traficant speech that it was a fraud. You might want to google it and decide.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting men like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president. (Source from the Czech Republic)
