Pat Smith, whose son Sean Smith was the State Department information officer killed in the 2012 Benghazi attack, delivered an emotional speech at the Republican convention where she said Hillary Clinton should go to jail.
Smith delivered a lengthy indictment of the U.S. government’s conduct during the hours while the attack was unfolding, then went right after Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump’s opponent, for her conduct during and after the attack.
After a member of the crowd yelled out that Clinton had lied, Smith said: ‘She lied to me and then called me a liar,’ mentioning the solemn arrival ceremony when her son’s coffin was returned to the U.S.
