A mag 6.0 – 32km SW of Lakatoro, Vanuatu is the 6th major quake to hit the small islands this month.
A magnitude 7.0 hit Vanuatu on Thursday earlier a mag 6.9, 2 x mag 6.7 and a mag 6.4 hit Vanuatu in the first two weeks of April.
No tsunami warning was issued for this mornings quake.
Today’s major quake is the 21st of a very busy April and the 49th of 2016.
