The calls for heightened security all over the place continue to pile up after the terror attacks in Brussels last Tuesday.

As we reported, most European Union members are now calling for a continent-wide intelligence superpower, which most likely be built around Europol, the European police force.

On Wednesday, new calls have been issued to enhance security at strategic places in major cities in Europe. In addition to meeting to discuss whether or not member states want to hand over all intelligence gathering to Europol, the EU commission will also host a number of so-called security experts to determine the viability of installing security checkpoints outside airports.

A group of experts from member countries of the European Union, will meet next week to discuss how to strengthen security at airports in the Twenty-eight countries after the attacks in Brussels on March 22, which took the lives of at least 34 people.

According to confirmed sources of the European Commission, this body will serve as host on March 31, before another meeting of security experts who will assess land transport security. That meeting is scheduled for April 31.

In addition to Europe, the fear-mongering being used by politicians and bureaucrats is not limited to Europe. In the United States, voices are already calling for changes in the protocols used in airports and are asking for new security measures. This dishonest politicians ask for security are airports while refusing to close the US borders, which are key in maintaining security in the country.

Hillary Clinton, the leading Democratic frontrunner for President of the United States, said Wednesday in Washington that the attacks in Brussels are a “brutal and last reminder” that something must be done to fight the militants of the Islamic State.

In this regard, she added that her country and Europe should take a “good look” at the security measures at airports and other “vulnerable areas” that are outside security perimeters.
