Despite balking by some reporters that they are still unwilling to report on “Project Gunwalker” allegations based solely on what has been disclosed to date both at Gun Rights Examiner and Sipsey Street Irregulars, including the corroborating letters from Senator Chuck Grassley to BATFE Acting Director Melson, some media outlets are sharing that development with their readership.

Here is what I have been able to locate so far:

From Politico: Grassley warns ATF on whistleblowers
From The Arizona Republic: Phoenix-area gun store, ATF sting may be linked to border shootout
From The Associated Press: Senator examines gun claim in border shootout
The same AP source is also appearing at:

Newsday
The Los Angeles Times
CBS News
Actually, it’s now gone viral.
A common thread? No acknowledgment that this story has been reported in increments for almost a month here and at Sipsey Street Irregulars, and no mention of the original allegations at CleanUpATF.org. Forget who it was who got the whistleblowers to Sen. Grassley in the first place and who has been screaming for any media outlet to notice. Ah, well. We’re mere “bloggers,” not “Authorized Journalists,” and it’s not about us anyway.
