The Republican presidential field is coalescing around Donald Trump, with the billionaire picking up the support of one out of every 12 GOP voters since mid-December on the crucial question of whether or not he will weather the storm and be the party’s nominee.
A Rasmussen poll released Friday shows that 74 percent of likely Republican voters – nearly 3 in 4 – say The Donald will be their party’s standard-bearer in the fall.
Only 11 per cent of Republicans say a Trump GOP nomination is ‘not at all likely.’
