Liberal progressive Democrats routinely deny that voter fraud is taking place in the United States, but that is usually because the fraud that is occurring benefits their party.
The position taken by the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University’s School of law is typical of the Left’s denial or outright effort to obfuscate the truth. According to the organization’s web site:
The Brennan Center’s ongoing examination of voter fraud claims reveal that voter fraud is very rare, voter impersonation is nearly non-existent, and much of the problems associated with alleged fraud in elections relates to unintentional mistakes by voters or election administrators…
And, according to an August 2014 Washington Post story by Justin Levitt, a professor at the Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and an expert in constitutional law and the law of democracy, the incidents of voter fraud are so rare as to be nearly immeasurable; he conducted a study that supposedly only found 31 instances of voter fraud out of 1 billion votes cast.
