Coronavirus Clearly Shows That The Covert Biological Warfare Among The Nations Is Now Underway Worldwide

“In 1879, General William Sherman of the American Civil War Union Army uttered the immortal words, “War is hell”. However true or false, one thing is clear: war is good for business, and weapons are amongst the most lucrative products known to man”.

The world has been spending a huge amount of money on new and innovative technologies with regard to hard power which emphasizes military might and destructive weapons for long. Those states which are spending more money on acquiring new technology in weapons and arms remain many influential and powerful nations of the world.

In 2018, the top five countries which spent a huge amount of money on military expenditure are the United States, China, Saudi Arabia, India, and France. In 2019, global defense spending rose by 4.0 percent as compared to the year 2018. Along with this, the international arms transfer has increased by 5.5 percent in five years from 2015 to 2019 as compared to the years 2010 to 2014.

The truth is biological warfare – or germ warfare – has been part of the war for millennia.

History records that as far back as 400 BC armies poisoned enemy wells and used poisoned arrows. History also records that in 18th-century America, the British colonialists gave smallpox-infected blankets to native Americans with the intention of killing them in an epidemic, the Inter Press Service News Agency reported.

Then, during World War I, Germany developed anthrax, glanders, cholera, and a wheat fungus and allegedly may have spread plague in St Petersburg, Russia, IPS reported.

It took 22 years after the end of World War II for the world to acknowledge the evil of bioweapons. Some 179 countries have ratified the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention, requiring the parties to give an undertaking that they will “never in any circumstances develop, produce, stockpile or otherwise acquire or retain” biological weapons, IPS reported.

But the convention allows nations to conduct “defensive” research – in other words, they are allowed to make a virus to kill a virus.

It is also believed that some countries develop offensive biological and chemical weapons. There is little distinction between chemical and biological weapons from a definitional aspect.

The changing dynamics of the world also affect the modes of war, transitioning from traditional to other forms such as bio war, hybrid war, and cyberwar, etc. As far as the bio war is concerned, it could be more destructive than any other form of war. The possibility of current pandemic COVID-19 being a bio-weapon cannot be ruled out. The world scientists and virologists are closely monitoring its causes and spread however, so far have largely remained unsuccessful.
