Best selling preparedness author, Cat Ellis, recently published a book titled, The Wuhan Coronavirus Survival Manual: How to Prepare for Pandemics and Quarantines (nCoV-2019, Covid-19 Edition). Released on February 16, the book quickly became an Amazon hit, before being removed from the site about two weeks later. This act by Amazon is flagrant modern day book burning, where valuable information is censored off the web, leaving millions of people uninformed and unprepared for what is to come. No one is allowed to think for themselves nor are they allowed to access information that could ease their anxiety and help them prepare.

Amazon book burning is withholding information on pandemic preparedness — valuable information that could save lives

Ellis is the author of two Amazon best-sellers, Prepper’s Natural Medicine and Prepping for a Pandemic. When the Chinese population began falling ill, and when the Chinese government moved in to contain a biological threat, Cat Ellis felt compelled to release her new book, which basically predicted many of the scenarios that would ultimately take place. Everything went well for her new book for about two weeks.

On March 4th, Amazon decided to pull the book from their site, censoring valuable information that could help people better navigate the current crisis. Amazon has yet to provide a clear reason for pulling the book. No one is allowed to buy the book from Amazon at this time.

Since 2015, Cat Ellis has been studying the history of pandemics and how governments and people respond to them. In her book, Prepping for a Pandemic, she talks about the possibility of mutating coronaviruses and their potential to cause the next pandemic.

The author is currently trying to figure out why a partially plagiarized version of her book is being sold on Amazon. After filing a copyright infringement complaint with Amazon, Cat Ellis was warned by Amazon that “reporting false, misleading, or consistently inaccurate notices of infringement violates” Amazon’s policies. Strangely, Amazon servers show that the plagiarized version was published weeks after the original.

The author is currently trying to restore the paperback and Kindle version of the book, but in the meantime, she is offering a PDF format, including important updates on how the situation has evolved.
