When The US Hospitals Won’t Be Able To Cope With Coronavirus: How To Set Up A Home Quarantine Room

In major cities like Beijing and Shanghai, many people have to stand in line in the wee hours of the morning to secure appointments with doctors. When they do get an appointment, patients get only a couple of minutes with a doctor. The Chinese government is relying on a medical system that is overburdened and overwhelmed even in normal times. Chinese people are fleeing the country despite the lockdown measures that have been taken.

Eleven Italian towns were on lockdown due to coronavirus on Sunday night as three deaths (and one more this morning) were attributed to the disease following a dramatic surge in cases. The virus is spreading all around the world and there are no signs of a cure yet.

When the H1N1 flu began spreading a decade ago, U.S. hospitals were flooded with patients. The pandemic, which was declared over in 2010, left nearly 275,000 hospitalized, as health officials fretted whether they would have enough beds, enough medical supplies, or enough protective gear. With all that in mind, you can see the importance of having a quarantine room at home.
