Today Gerald Celente spoke with King World News about China shutting down entire cities, people being rounded up and quarantined because of the Coronavirus.

February 7 (King World News) – Gerald Celente: “Are they (China) closing the factories and are airlines starting to no longer fly to China and it’s hurting the travel industry? Big time. But what do they know that we don’t know? What could all of these different industries know that we don’t know? Are they overreacting or do they have inside information that we don’t know about? And they are fearful. And they have a reason to worry because the fear level out there is really high.
It means that they are going to have to lower interest rates at a time when they should be raising them. But they are going to have to lower them to boost growth. They are going to be dumping more and more cheap money into the system and so is everybody else. Thailand just lowered their interest rates to an all-time low. All of this is very positive for gold.”
Eric King: “Gerald, do you sit back and ask yourself, ‘Why are they shuttering entire cities? Why are they having people shut in their homes? Why are they rounding up people? Why are all of the industries closing down?’ As you said, ‘What do they know that we don’t know?’ Do you stop sometimes and say to yourself, ‘There’s something strange going on here.’”
Gerald Celente: “Yes. And I would believe the communist government just as much as I would believe my government. I don’t believe anything they say. Why are they closing it (China) down? I don’t know. And I know it’s going to hurt them, but is closing all of this down and quarantining all of these people, is that going to stop the spread of it? Because if you are in the place where it (the Coronavirus exposure) happened, it’s not like you are just staying in your home and you are going to stay in there every day, day in and day out — you still have contact with other people. So it’s really going to start spreading…
