France: Club-wielding man attacks people in cars, screams “I’m going to cut your throat, I’m a Muslim, Allahu akbar”

Of course he is getting a psychiatric evaluation. French authorities have long ago decided that all manifestations of Islam-inspired violence really stem from “mental illness.” Mental health professionals, never ask themselves why so many mentally ill people decide that they must do violence in the name of Islam and in accord with its teachings, when we do not see corresponding violent acts from mentally ill people of other religions.

“I’m going to cut your throat, I’m a Muslim, Allah Akbar, you don’t know who I am.” It was with these words that a 31-year-old individual with a 3-meter club threatened residents of Roanne on the evening of December 26 in Roanne. Overcome by the victims, he was subsequently arrested by the police, then automatically committed to psychiatric care. A psychiatric assessment will be carried out to assess his criminal responsibility.
That evening, at 10:30 p.m., a couple and a teenager were driving to rue de Clermont, on their way home after a meal at a restaurant, when they came across the attacker. The attacker ran down the street armed with a club about 3 meters long, with which he struck the car violently. The 30-year-old then continued on his way, trying to hit another car with a club as it crossed the Saint-Louis roundabout.
He was finally stopped a little further down Brison Street by a mother and a teenager, who chased him on foot, joined by the father in the car.
He threatens to slaughter his victims
Blows were exchanged and the individual was subdued after repeatedly threatening to kill the father and his stepson, and repeatedly shouting “Allah Akbar”. Threats were also made against police officials when they intervened. When the mother asked him why he did it, he replied that he had 15 years of psychiatric care and was schizophrenic.
The individual was placed in police custody and then committed to compulsory psychiatric detention for three days before being released….
