AWFUL. Bette Midler Cheers Criminal Neighbor Who Almost Killed Rand Paul in Blindside Attack

Senator Rand Paul (R-TN) suffered six broken ribs and a pleural effusion after he was ambushed and assaulted by a neighbor at his Kentucky home in November 2017.

The final medical report following the blindside attack indicated the senator suffered six broken ribs and an X-ray showed a pleural effusion.
The attacker, Rene Boucher, a 59-year-old retired anesthesiologist, was charged with fourth-degree assault.
Boucher, who tackled Senator Paul from behind, was released from jail the next day.
In early 2019 Rene Boucher was found guilty of assault on the US senator and ordered to pay Senator Paul $580,000.
Rene Boucher should be serving time for the violent and dangerous assault.
You would think Americans could all agree that attacks like this should never be celebrated or condoned.
But not in today’s political climate.
Bette Midler cheered this violent attack on Twitter this week.
Midler tweeted: “I DO NOT promote violence but… Rand Paul says the Kurds are being “ingrates” for taking their frustrations out on US troops. Which is a good reminder for us all to be more grateful for the neighbor who beat the shit out of Rand Paul.”
