Now is the time for Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act and stop the lawless, treasonous left

The Left has become so lawless and out-of-control in the age of Trump – openly rejecting the election results and continuing to wreak havoc throughout society in protest – that some are now calling on the president to invoke the Insurrection Act and clean house.
Writing for PJMedia, David Solway explains how, if necessary to thwart subversion and treason, the President of the United States is legally allowed to invoke Article III, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, procuring a suitable recourse for prosecuting treasonous acts against the Republic.
However, if this is seen as being too “harsh” or even counterproductive to achieving the desired results, the president can instead choose to invoke the Insurrection Act, which would enable him “to put down lawlessness, insurrection and rebellion.”
As also explained by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, invoking the Insurrection Act might just be the only remedy for a time such as this when the mainstream media continues to lie about pretty much everything, dividing the nation and sending it on a trajectory towards mass unrest and potentially civil war.
Adams points to the recent spate of violence at a Trump rally in Minneapolis, where leftist rioters stormed the streets and began to attack Trump supporters as they waited to enter the arena.
“The corporate-run media has become a CIA propaganda front that ignores reality while fabricating fake stories to destroy America,” Adams notes.
“The tech giants despise free speech for conservatives while demanding ‘equality’ for transgenders. And left-wing governors and mayors are openly advocating Antifa-style lawlessness and violence in America, as long as that violence is directed at conservatives and Trump supporters.”

In their push for what they see as “social justice,” the Left has demonstrated that it’s willing to say or do pretty much anything in order to win the culture war, including acts of violence against their political and ideological opponents.
Diana Sitek, writing for the American Thinker, aptly describes this phenomenon as “the entitlement to depravity embedded in the Left’s social justice dogma,” or the idea that the ends justify the means, even when those means involve harming other people and causing mass chaos.
“Any decent and impartial observer can see that leftist and corporate America has come to resemble a cloacal bog of lies, corruption, slander, censorship, entitlements and violence, a veritable ‘swamp’ as it has been aptly called,” writes Solway.
“The media, the academy, the entertainment industry, Big Tech, the Democrat Party, and the ‘Deep State’ are profoundly engaged in a networked alliance to overturn the results of a lawful election and subvert a legitimate and effective presidency.”
In order to effectively “drain the swamp” as he constantly claimed he would do while on the campaign trail, President Trump has to take swift and formidable action. And the only way to do that would seem to be by invoking the remedies established by our founders for dealing with this type of situation.
“Clearly something like a classical lustration needs to be undertaken, a ‘purification of the fields’ or, in this case, a cleansing of the noisome bog which is current American politics,” Solway goes on to contend.
