Former CIA Analyst Fred Fleitz: Schiff ‘Seriously Violated’ Committee Rules and Should ‘At Minimum’ Recuse Himself From Impeachment Inquiry

Former CIA analyst and NSC Chief of Staff Fred Fleitz on Wednesday said House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff ‘seriously violated House Committee rules’ and therefore should ‘at minimum’ recuse himself from the impeachment investigation into President Trump.
The New York Times reported on Wednesday that Adam Schiff learned about the Deep State CIA spy’s accusations against Trump over his phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky several days before the officer filed a whistleblower complaint.
“Schiff knew about the CIA whistleblower in advance — way in advance. Before he even filed the complaint. This is a much bigger scandal that (sic) people realize. At minimum, Schiff should recuse himself from this impeachment inquiry,” Fleitz tweeted.

Fleitz argued that Schiff broke committee rules because he didn’t share the classified info with Minority members of the House Intel Committee (such as Devin Nunes).
“Under House Intel Committee rules, any classified info brought to the committee from outside sources MUST BE SHARED WITH BOTH SIDES. Schiff broke committee rules by not telling committee GOP members about this,” Fleitz added.

“This is a very serious violation of House Intel Committee rules,” Fleitz said.

Mr. Flietz previously stated the whistleblower complaint was certainly not written by a CIA officer because it was too polished and sounded like something written by congressional staffers.
“This document looks as if this leaker had outside help, possibly from congressional members or staff,” Fleitz said last week.
President Trump asserted on Wednesday that Adam Schiff is a “fraud” and helped write the whistleblower complaint.
Schiff went into panic mode Wednesday afternoon and claimed he has never met with or spoken to the whistleblower — in fact, Schiff claimed he doesn’t even know the identity of the whistleblower!
