Lanny Davis, Michael Cohen’s current lawyer, told the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday that Cohen previously directed one of his lawyers to ask the White House about a presidential pardon.

This directly contradicts Michael Cohen’s sworn testimony to the House Oversight Committee last week.

“I have never asked for, nor would I accept, a pardon from President Trump,” Michael Cohen told Congress last week.

“During that time period, he directed his attorney to explore possibilities of a pardon at one point with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani as well as other lawyers advising President Trump,” Lanny Davis told the Wall Street Journal.

Did Michael Cohen perjure himself again?

Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) has already criminally referred Michael Cohen to the Justice Department for ‘committing perjury.’

Meadows and Jordan wrote a letter to newly-confirmed Attorney General Bill Barr last Thursday stating there is “significant evidence” that Michael Cohen “committed perjury and knowingly made false statements during his testimony before an Oversight and Reform Committee.”

Michael Cohen was sentenced to 36 months in prison for lying to Congress and other crimes related to his taxi medallion business and it looks like he was just caught in another lie.

But he’s the Democrats’ ‘star witness’ — let that sink in.
