The Bishop and school administration at Covington Catholic — that immediately threw these kids under the bus without full information — has now told students they cannot speak to the media to defend themselves.

Neither the Diocese or school has apologized to the kids for believing leftist activist Nathan Phillips and the liberal media as they smeared the students. Both even apologized on their behalf and have not yet retracted it — even though the original narrative has been thoroughly debunked.

The students claim that after some of the kids spoke to Fox News and other outlets, the Bishop informed the school that he doesn’t want them doing any more interviews. The school faculty agreed, claiming they are worried about their safety.

While no punishment was made clear if they fail to comply, the students want to cooperate and plan to do so.

Speaking to the Gateway Pundit over the weekend, the mother of one of the boys seen in the video said that they are demanding an apology from the Diocese for not protecting the kids.

“Like I said, the Bishop here is literally victimizing the victims twice. They’ve already been victimized by the media, now they are being victimized again,” she added. “There is blood in the water and they are making it worse. They’re feeding the piranha frenzy from the liberal media. I just want people to understand that they need to wake up and stop believing the fake news and defend the kids.”

POLL: Should The Covington Students Sue The Mainstream Media?

The Gateway Pundit attempted to call Covington Catholic to ask about the media ban — but their main phone line “is not accepting calls at this time.”
