Though they have not come to blows yet, the pair constantly uses their strength to show off their power. They often stage huge military exercises, venture into disputed waters or boast of new state-of-the-art equipment to the world.
However, there is one piece of technology China possesses that could end military intervention from the US in a matter of minutes, it was revealed in a 2015 documentary.
Amazon’s Prime’s “China vs USA: Empires at War” series revealed how a huge laser built by the Chinese government could blind all American warships, leaving them useless.
The series revealed: “The Chinese army has developed a system to blind Americans.
“Giant lasers that don’t destroy satellites, but affect them enough to make them useless.
“This is not science fiction, but a technology already in use.”
The US government relies on satellites to communicate and position its warships around the world.
If the satellites are useless, the vessels will be left stranded at sea.
The military strategist for the People’s Liberation Army previously claimed they are Donald Trump’s biggest asset but also his biggest weakness.
