Belgium has gone through a dramatic, unexpected change. In a country that had been hit by several jihad attacks claimed by the Islamic State — including bombings in Brussels in March 2016 that left 32 dead — the country seemed doomed, lost to the globalist influence. Belgium’s domestic intelligence agency also warned in November that the country faced a persistent terror threat, in part because of the radicalisation of prisoners. At the beginning of December, the Hungarian government actually ran a van through Brussels with a billboard opposing mass Muslim migration, which ended when a policemen stopped it and arrested the driver. Then suddenly, amid violent protests, the Prime Minister of Belgium resigned after a no-confidence vote over his support for UN migration pact.

Now, “support for Belgium’s two largest Flemish nationalist parties, who are both anti-mass migration, has exploded after the collapse of the government due to disagreements over the UN migrant pact.” People are starting to realize that they have been duped by a movement that in the midst of the advancing global jihad is trying to force an open-door immigration policy upon its citizens, without any plan for dealing with national security. Jihadists have long boasted of infiltrating the “refugee” stream, and Europe continues to grapple with ever more frequent incidences of female genital mutilation (FGM), child marriage, and anti-Semitism, as well as jihad violence.

“Nationalists Surge After Belgian Govt Collapse Over Migrant Pact,” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, December 27, 2018:

Support for Belgium’s two largest Flemish nationalist parties, who are both anti-mass migration, has exploded after the collapse of the government due to disagreements over the UN migrant pact.

When combined, the conservative New Flemish Alliance (N-VA) and the populist Vlaams Belang now account for a massive 42 percent of the vote in Flanders according to a poll released by Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad earlier this week Le Soir reports.

The poll was conducted just after the New Flemish Alliance resigned from the coalition government following their vocal opposition to the country signing the controversial UN migrant pact in Marrakech earlier this month. Shortly afterwards, Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel offered his resignation to Belgian King Philippe.

While the N-VA expanded their support, Vlaams Belang, the Flemish populist party that sits in the same European Parliamentary group as Matteo Salvini’s Lega and Marine Le Pen’s Rassemblement National (RN), doubled their support from six to twelve percent.
