Donald Trump flipped the script on Democrats as he headed into the final stretch of mid-term campaigning, claiming that it’s liberals who want to ‘turn back the clock’ and ‘throw America in reverse’ in this election.

Trump implored Americans of every background to ‘reject the Democrat politics of anger and division and to unite behind our proud and righteous destiny as Americans’ at his fourth rally of the weekend.

The president was campaigning on Sunday night in Tennessee along GOP Rep. Marsha Blackburn, who is seeking to replace retiring Republican Sen. Bob Corker.

She told a cheering crowd midway through the Chattanooga event: ‘And if you want to vote no on Hillary Clinton and her cronies one more time, stand with me and let’s win this election!’

Trump beat Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. But he warned voters that his agenda could easily be unraveled if Democrats win control of the House and Senate on Tuesday.

‘The Democrats want to turn back the clock, throw America in reverse and return power to a corrupt, selfish ruling class that only looks out for themselves. You see it happening, but we stop it,’ he said. ‘Our opponents are stuck in the past, while we are rebuilding and going into America’s great future.’

Trump told Blackburn’s likely voters, ‘I need you to vote for a Republican House and a Republican Senate so we can continue this incredible movement, the greatest political movement in the history of our great country.’

Listing many of his promises from his first two years in office, including changes to the immigration system that would end the diversity lottery visa program, Trump told them: ‘We will keep the criminals, drug dealers and terrorists the hell out of our country.’

He said, ‘I am asking every citizen, from every party, every background and every race color and creed to reject the Democrat politics of anger and division and to unite behind our proud and righteous destiny as Americans.
