New York Governor Andrew Cuomo whitewashed New York City’s history of being terror bombed by Democratic Party allies by marking the 1993 World Trade Center bombing by Islamist terrorists as the start of the City being targeted by terrorists, ignoring the deadly 1970s and 1980s terror bombings by Democratic Party allies the FALN and the Weather Underground (Bill Ayers).

Cuomo made his remarks Wednesday afternoon at a press conference in New York City about the mail bomb addressed to former Obama CIA Director John Brennan at CNN’s NYC bureau as part of a wave of mail bombs apparently targeting Democrats including former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder, major Democrat donor George Soros and, as Cuomo announced at the end of the press conference, himself.

“…Also, a little perspective, the first terrorist attack in New York City was 1993. Twenty-five years ago was the bombing of the World Trade Center. Uh, so in some ways this is nothing new. We have lived with this for a long time. Actually my father (Mario Cuomo) was governor at that time…”

The Weather Underground, led by Bill Ayers who would later go on to launch Barack Obama’s political career at his Chicago home in the 1990s, bombed NYPD headquarters in 1970 and blew up a Greenwich Village brownstone with a bomb intended for a soldiers dance at Ft. Dix, New Jersey, killing several Weather Underground members.
