Storm Rosa to SMASH Arizona TOMORROW: Nevada and Utah on ALERT for hurricane gales

STORM ROSA could be the next major system to smash the US, just as the Carolina’s begin to recover from hurricane Florence. Nevada and Utah are the next areas in danger of a blast from strong winds.

Hurricane Florence was the most recent to deliver a strong punch to the US, leaving millions without power and 48 dead.

Storm Rosa is now on the way, barrelling towards the US West Coast, around Nevada and Utah.

While not yet a hurricane Rosa could strength to be the latest this hurricane season, the months long period where powerful storms frequently batter the US mainland and associated islands.

Some of the world’s strongest ever storms formed around this time, and Rosa is on the cards to become a major threat.

Storm Rosa is right now located near 105 miles southwest of Punta Eugenia, in Baja California.

The storm is not yet rivalling wind speeds of Hurricane Florence, stuck in a tropical depression at 50mph.

In the coming days however the storm will progress onwards, with warnings laid down for the inland portions of California and Arizona.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has outlined the storm is set to stir both powerful winds and rain is it enters the mainland US.
