World War 3 fears: Russia slams ‘FOE’ US over military sanctions as tensions ESCALATE
RUSSIA has accused the US of “undermining” global economic stability, branding the new US-imposed military sanctions as ‘misguided’.

On Thursday, the US imposed sanctions on China that prohibit the country from buying fighter jets and missile defence systems from Russia.
They came after the Asian superpower breached sanction laws after it was caught purchasing military-grade weapons from Moscow.
But the Trump administration has tightened its grip on the country, and also blacklisted an additional 33 people and entities associated with the Russian military and intelligence along with the latest run of sanctions.
Now Russian deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov has lashed back saying Washington would not succeed in dictating economic conditions on Moscow.
He said sanctioning Russia had become a national pastime for the US, noting the latest wave of restrictions was the 60th sanctions package set against Moscow since 2011.
Mr Ryabkov said in a statement: “Each new round of sanctions proves our foe’s complete lack of success in pressuring Russia with previous such attempts.
“It would be not bad if they remembered about the concept of global stability which they are unthinkingly undermining by whipping up tensions in Russia-US relations. Playing with fire is stupid and can become dangerous.”
The new comments follow a tense few months between Russia and the US, following a federal investigation into collusion by Russia in the US elections – a charge that Moscow has consistently denied.
