There, he confronted a man inside then shot him and shot his wife
Another man entered the business, saw what was happening, and then fled
The gunman chased him and then shot him dead nearby
He then went to a house 1.8 miles away where he killed two men inside
The gunman then stole a car from a woman and her daughter and fled
He then shot himself as cops approached his car on Edison Highway
Police say none of the killings were random but they have yet to find a motive

A gunman in California killed himself on Wednesday night after going on a deadly rampage killing five other people including his wife.
The shooter is yet to be named. He started his killing spree at a trucking company in Bakersfield at around 5.15pm where he arrived with his wife and confronted a man inside.
After arguing with the man, he shot him and then his wife. A witness who entered the premises and saw what was happening fled and he gave chase.
Yards away, he shot the witness, his third victim, leaving him dead on a lot outside of Bear Mountain Sports.
The gunman then fled to a home, 1.8miles away, where he shot and killed two men in a residence then fled.
He did not travel far, going only 1.2 miles where he then hijacked a car with a woman and her daughter inside.
By then, with five dead people in his wake, police were tracking him. He killed himself as a cop car approached on Edison Highway.
Police say none of the killings were random and that all were targeted. They have not yet identified a motive for the shootings nor have they named the killer or any of his victims.
Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood said the mass shooting had become ‘the new normal’ around the country.
‘Six people lost their lives in a very short amount of time. This is the new normal.’
