Kremlin insider says Russia ‘not scared’ of US: ‘They haven’t won a war in 70 years’
RUSSIA has nothing to fear from a US attack, a former Kremlin official has claimed.

Alexander Nekrassov, who served as an adviser to the late Russian President Boris Yeltsin, told Daily Star Online the US will never target his country for one simple reason.
He explained: “I don’t see a confrontation between America and Russia simply because Russia doesn’t take on other nuclear powers.”
Alexander added: “There is no way America will ever attack Russia because it has nuclear weapons.”
And he went on: “Remember, America hasn’t won a war since 1945.”
Tensions between the US and Russia have increased in recent months, as Donald Trump continues to deny claims of Russian meddling in his 2016 election victory.
Recently, a military expert told Daily Star Online Russia is looking to replace America as the world’s superpower – using a 1997 manual.
Alexander warned that even though Russia doesn’t fear an attack from the US, the “Cold War-style” tensions between the two military powers won’t end any time soon.
“This tension will continue because Trump’s not a professional politician,” he said.
“He’s surrounded by people by neo-con hawks who aren’t giving him good advice.”
Nekrassov – who is now based in London – previously told Daily Star Online he wouldn’t be surprised if Putin is president for life.
While US military chiefs say Vladimir Putin is the person ramping up war tensions, not Trump.
