The #WalkAway movement continues to pick up steam, as yet another former Obama enthusiast – and African-American woman – has decided that the Democrats have absolutely nothing to offer her, and don’t in any way align with her beliefs and convictions.

Antonia Okafor, who recently appeared on a segment of Fox & Friends – you can watch her interview at REAL.video – tells about how she decided to leave the Democrat plantation for greener pastures after hearing about Donald Trump’s bid for the presidency.

“I really wanted someone who would champion fiscally and socially conservative issues,” Okafor stated, insinuating that failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was not the person for the job.

“In my Daily Signal video, I talk about the fact that during the Obama administration, I realized that Millennials were projected to be the first generation to do worse than their parents before them.”

Keep in mind that Okafor voted for Obama, not once but twice, and later came to a realization about the error of her ways. Even when it comes to the plight of black people, Obama, a so-called champion of blacks, did nothing to help them to escape the chains of unemployment and poverty.

“Just looking at African-Americans specifically, at that time in 2010, the peak of 2010, unemployment was at 18.4 percent for black males, and 13.8 percent for black females,” Okafor explained during the segment.

“I knew Trump could fix that. And you know what? Here’s 2018 and he has.”

As a born-again Christian, Okafor realized that she simply can’t support the Democrats in good conscience

Even as the Democrats rail on about the so-called “Blue Wave” that they claim is coming this fall for the mid-term elections, Okafor points out that many other former Democrats just like herself aren’t planning to vote for leftist candidates.

President Trump has actually been warning Democrats about the risk that they face of losing their base in this year’s mid-term elections. One big reason for this are the many people of faith like Okafor who are leaving the Democratic Party because it doesn’t align with their belief systems.

“Something very important to me is my Christian faith,” says Okafor.

“Eight years ago I became a born-again Christian, and God put two very seemingly different issues on my heart. But really it came down to the core issue of sanctity of life and who respects that. Those two things were, one, my right to life, and two, my right to defend that life … Trump has been a protector of life, and that’s why I voted for him.”
