Iran warns ‘satanic’ Donald Trump will unleash series of HOLY WARS in the Middle East
DONALD Trump’s highly-anticipated plan for bringing peace to the Middle East will trigger “a series of conflicts” and “foment chaos” in the region, Iran has warned.

Iranian conservative politician Ali Larijani has warned that Trump’s plan – billed the “deal of the century” – will sow more discord and hostility in the war-ravaged Middle East.
Palestine’s self-governing body, the National Authority, claims the yet-to-be released deal will contain a “blatant bias towards Israel” and create a “imbalance of power”.
Larijani, the speaker of Iran’s parliament, takes a similar view, telling politicians in Tehran on Sunday that the “disgraceful” deal should be resisted.
“Apparently, the disgraceful ‘deal of the century’ promised by Mr Trump has shown its ugly face and this amateur decision will be the start of a series of conflicts in the region,” Larijani said in parliament on Sunday.
Iran and other nations in the region would not allow Israel to “foment chaos” in the region by backing the plan, he added.
Palestinians fear the peace plan may propose permanently splitting up the West Bank and Gaza Strip, jeopardising the possibility of a two state solution.
Last week Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei argued that the “deal of the century” will never come to fruition, describing it as the work of the devil.
“Now, the Americans have named their satanic policy on Palestine as the deal of the century and with God’s help, this deal of the century will never be materialised,” he told officials in Tehran last Monday.
The remarks from Iranian politicians are likely to antagonise Trump’s administration, escalating the increasingly bitter war of words between the two nations.
