Democrats now treating Trump supporters the same way they once treated blacks

During her opening monologue on Saturday, Fox News host Judge Janine Pirro commented that today’s political rancor and discourse is unlike anything we’ve ever seen in our country. She says political discourse has now devolved into “political abuse,” and we’re being further divided than ever before.
While Judge Janine is correct in that our divisions are deep and the chasm is widening, there have been previous periods in our history when political discourse was transformed into political abuse.
In fact, we endured such political abuse for more than a century — and Democrats were largely to blame for it.
In recent days supporters of President Donald Trump as well as members of his administration have been harassed and driven out of the public space by angry, triggered, Left-wing Democratic supporters who seem to have decided that they have some right to choose which policies are “moral” and which ones aren’t:
— Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was attempting to have a nice, quiet meal at a Mexican restaurant near the White House when she was accosted by a mob of “Democratic Socialists.” The mob screamed at her and chanted slogans because they disagree with the administration’s border enforcement policies.
— White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who has endured the most abuse from a disgustingly dishonest press corps than any previous person in her position (with the exception of her predecessor, Sean Spicer), was told to leave a Virginia restaurant as she attempted to dine with her family. The reason? She works for the ‘amoral’ Trump administration which is ‘separating families’ at the U.S. border and putting them in ‘concentration camps’ — allegations which are, of course, ridiculous.
