Iran threatens US with ‘another VIETNAM WAR’ in chilling warning to Donald Trump
IRAN has warned the US they have another Vietnam war on their hands in Syria in a shot across the bows of Donald Trump.

Iranian leader Ali Khamenei’s top foreign aide made the chilling warning as the US remain in Syria.
The Middle Eastern state has been torn apart by brutal civil war since 2011.
And Syria has been feared to explode into a power vacuum and wider war as it draws in Russia and the US.
Trump’s forces remain present in the country, with the US President dropping plans for a total and immediate withdrawal in Syria.
ISIS also remain a presence in the war-torn nation, despite being driven out of their stronghold of Raqqa.
Iran have been running ground war in Syria for dictator Bashar al-Assad.
And they have been attempting to establish forward bases, much to the fury of Israel.
Russia and Iran are offering major support to Assad agains the rebel forces who are being driven back in Syria.
US officials and their western allies have been critical of the regime, along with their enablers, over the war.
Top Iranian official Ali Akbar Velayati said: “The Americans themselves have created the ISIS and the al-Nusra in Syria and now they have come onto the scene and occupied Eastern Euphrates.
“They should know that Syria and Eastern Euphrates will be another Vietnam for the US.”
US-led coalition forces launched cruise missiles strikes against Syria back in April.
The attack was in response to an alleged chemical attack carried out by Assad on rebel-held Douma.
